She's Got Legs
5” X 12” - Art size
.5in white border
Original Acrylic paint, colored pencil, and Posca marker on paper
“Spirit of the Underbrush” is my first collection release of paintings on paper. In this abstract collection of works on paper, I was inspired by the underbrush of vegetation in the forests and gardens of the South. Expressing what can sometimes be relatable to life in the way that a plant can flex and thrive despite inhospitable conditions. Through color and form each piece has developed its’ own character. Some color combinations brought memories of songs, mossy vegetation surrounding my home, or simply experiences of color palettes that have just stuck with me.
